Alignment

Alignment is the positioning and adjustment of an object in relation with other objects, or a static orientation of certain objects in relation to other objects (i.e. foundations and shafts). Poor alignment of objects such as foundations and shafts is responsible for many machine problems. Countless tests have shown that incorrect alignment is the cause for approximately 50 percent of all machine breakdowns.
